Dua Lipa is an English musician and singer who was born on the 22nd of August 1995 in London United Kingdom. She signed a contract with Warner Bros Records after a several years of hard work. She dropped her self-titled debut album in 2017. The album climbed up to the third position on the U.K. Chart for Albums. There were eight songs released, among them Be the Only I.D.G.A.F. as well as New Rules (UK number one). It also rose at number 6 in the United States. Lipa is the recipient of Brit Awards in 2018 for two categories: British Female Artist and British Breakthrough Act and British. Additionally, the platinum album has been praised in multiple countries. Future Nostalgia Lipa is set to release her next album, a studio one called Future Nostalgia Lipa in 2020. By virtue of her maternal grandmother, she is of Bosnian origin. There is also a trace of Lipa's family tree back through Peja in Kosovo. Lipa's grandfathers are both historians. Lipa is the younger sister of Rina Lipa, and has one younger brother, named Gjin. Lipa was heavily influenced by music by her father who was the guitarist and singer in Oda, the Kosovan rock group Oda.
